Gbajabiamila condoles with Bauchi govt over elder statesman death

The Speaker House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila has condoled the government and people of Bauchi State over the death of an elder statesman Alhaji Manu Adamu Soro.

Femi Gbajabiamila who was received by the Bauchi State Speaker Abubakar Sulaiman said the demise came as a great shock not only to the family but to the entire nation.

The Speaker on behalf of the entire house of representatives urged the family to bear the irreparable loss and prayed Allah to grant the deceased Aljantul Fidausi.

He used the opportunity to describe the member representing Ganjuwa/Darazau Federal Constituency Mansur Manu Soro, a son of the deceased as a vibrant lawmaker who in his few months at the nineth Assembly make a great impact to the people of the state and the nation.

Responding on behalf of the family and people of Bauchi state the Emir of Bauchi Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu described the late Manu Soro as a man of integrity and lover of his people saying his death is a great loss to his family and the entire Emirates of the state.

In his remark the state governor Bala Mohammed thanked the speaker for the condolence visit commended him for having Bauchi in mind as he played a vital role towards resolving it’s State’s Assembly crisis.

Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila arrived Bauchi at exactly 9am acommpanied by Senator Dauda Haliru Jika senator representing Bauchi Central with Some lawmakers representing Bauchi, Plateau, Gombe and Kano states at the National Assembly.
