Government at all levels have been urged to provide an enabling environment for job creation to prevent the incessant killings of the citizens abroad under the guise of xenophobic attacks.
Imam Abubakar Ali-Kamal made the call in his Jumaat sermon in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.
According to him if enabling environments are put in place and jobs provided Nigerians Will remain at home to work.
He appealed the individuals and corporate organization to support the government in the provisions of jobs to enable the citizens to remain at home and work instead of travelling abroad in search of greener pastures.
Imam Abubakar also urged the Nigerians shun unnecessary travelling abroad, adding that they should remain at home to contribute their quota to the growth and development of the country.
