Naira Marley ‘curses’ EFCC

Two days after Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley cursed Twitter folks, for calling him lliterate, the singer has also cursed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, at his show in Dubai.

In a short video posted on Instagram on Sunday, Naira Marley declared in Yoruba, “Ko ni da fun EFCC”. (It shall not be well with the EFCC) at the show.

The singer lamented on his Instagram page that Nigerians in Dubai are spending their money to beautify the city, rather than spend it in Nigeria.

He appealed to the Federal Government to stop harassing wealthy youths, saying the government should let them feel at home.

On May 10, the EFCC arrested Naira Marley for alleged credit card fraud. 

The court granted him the bail on the conditions of a N2,000,000 bond, and two sureties.

After perfecting his bail conditions, Naira Marley was released on June 14.
