Founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly(COZA) Abuja, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, has been granted administrative bail by the Police.
Fatoyinbo was granted bail after hours of questioning by detectives over the allegation of rape levelled against him by celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo.
The pastor dismissed Dakolo’s allegation as false and subsequently stepped down from the pulpit after calls for the case to be investigated mounted.
Pastor Fatoyinbo had last week given reasons for boycotting the panel set up by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, to investigate the matter.
He explained in a statement that he clearly told the leadership of the PFN, that he would not honour the invitation based on legal advice and that he would rather wait for the result of the police investigation into the matter.
