Over 219 people mostly women and children were displaced by flood in Yola, the state capital of Adamawa.
The Executive Secretary, Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency, Dr Mohammed Suleman disclosed this to Radio Nigeria in Yola.
He explained that following a heavy downpour that lasted for over six hours affected houses in many parts of the state capital that rendered hundreds homeless.
According to Dr Mohammed Suleman, those rendered homeless are now camped at government buildings.
Dr Suleman said the state government has provided relief materials to the victims.
He disclosed that there was also flooding at Shelleng, Gerie and Ganye local government areas of the state on Friday.
