Northern Groups distance self from protest

A coalition of Northern Groups has distance itself from a planed protest scheduled for tomorrow urging all people in the North to resist the plot.

The Spokesperson for the coalition, Mallam Abdul- Azeez Suleman Made the call at a news briefing in Kaduna.

He said the coalition opposed the action because the protest organizers failed to clearly state their reasons for the planned action thereby giving room for suspicion and national instability as witnessed of recent in countries like Libiya, Sudan Egypt and Yemen.

“The ultimate aim of the proponents of the match who are at best couriers of a foreign destabilization plot has not been clearly and satisfactorily defined which renders the whole exercise suspicious”.

Mallam Abdul- Azeez Suleman therefore appealed to President Muhammad Buhari to remain focused and also continue to be fair to all Nigerians irrespective of where they reside.
