Over fifteen billion dollars investment announcement has been recorded in the first half of the year by the Nigerian investment promotion commission, NIPC.
Presenting the report in Abuja, the Executive secretary of the commission Ms Yewande Sadiku said the major announcement of ten billion dollars was from a Dutch oil company.
The report showed that a total of forty-three projects across twelve states and the FCT were announced from investors in 20 countries.
Ms Sadiku said the announcements were less than the one recorded within the same period last year.
She attributed the decline to the conclusion in the general election and handover in the first half of the year.
