House of Representatives member, representing Zangon Kataf and Jaba federal constituency in Kaduna state, Barrister Sunday Marshal Katung has appealed to Nigerians to love one another regardless of tribe or religion for peace and unity of the nation.
The house member representing Zangon Kataf and Jaba constituency stated this in a statement issued to newsmen in Kaduna.
Mr Katung who rejoiced with Muslims for the successful completion of the Ramadan period, urged Nigerians to use the Eid- El -Fitr celebration to intensify prayers for the unity, peace and progress of the country.
The legislature who said though the country is faced with numerous challenges bordering on insecurity added that winning the war against security and other challenges bedeviling the nation was a collective responsibility of all citizens.
He appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to intensify effort towards addressing the challenges of unemployment, poverty and insecurity among others to ensure justice for all Nigerians regardless of tribe or religion.
The law maker said it was imperative for Nigerians to express honesty, selflessness, care and love for one another to guarantee a united and progressive nation
