Kano Assembly urges Muslims on peaceful co-existence

The Speaker, Kano state House of Assembly Alhaji Kabiru Rurum has called on the Muslims across the state to use the period of Eid-el-Fitr to pray for peace and harmony across country.

This was contained in a media statement signed by the Director Press of the House, Ali Bala Kofar Kudu.

He said Eid-el-Fitr festivity is a holy period of sober reflection, where every Muslims is expected to continue practising the lessons learnt during the just concluded Ramadhan fasting.

Alhaji Kabiru Rurum enjoined the entire Muslims to be seriously committed and always seek for Allah’s forgiveness to bring succor to the cattle rustlers, armed-bandits, insurgents in the land.

He said peace and harmony contribute to nation building around the globe.
