Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade says that his second term in office would focus majorly on Industrialization of the state to create jobs and expand business opportunities.
The Governor stated this during his inauguration and swearing in and his deputy, Professor Ivara Esu at the U.J. Esuene stadium, Calabar.
While taking the ceremonial oath of office conducted by the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Michael Edem, the Governor promised to carry out his duties within the ambit of the law.
The Governor who came out in a casual outfit said it was an indication that he was ready to be at project sites to ensure that all his projects were actualized within the next four years.
He said the Super Highway and the Deep Seaport projects would connect the Atlantic Ocean to the Northern part of the country.
Professor Ayade also called on the federal government to support the State with the stabilization fund to assist states in difficult circumstances.
Among the dignitaries that attended the ceremony were all the former Governors of the State, Service Chiefs, Senators-elect, and members-elect of Houses of Representatives and State Assembly.
