Kano state Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has charged wealthy individuals in the society to embrace the culture of extending there wealth to the larger society through investing in education, health and agriculture among others.
The governor stated this during the commissioning of a ten bed ward at jaen primary healthcare service in Gwale local government area of Kano state provided by a philanthropist and a special Adviser to governor Ganduje Alhaji Uba Dan zainab.
He commended the foresight of Danzainab for constructing and furnishing the ward aimed at uplifting the health status of the general populace.
Gov Ganduje appealed to the wealthy to emulate the kind gesture of his special adviser, targeted at achieving the set objectives.
In a remark the commissioner of health kabiru Ibrahim.getso said Kano state government had achieved alot in the aspect of improving the health status of the general populace through providing the needed healh facilities.
Earlier the convener of the ceremony alhaji Tanko uba Danzainab said he constructed and furnished the ward to contribute his own quota in the development of his community.
In his speech the chairman of Gwale local government area alhaji ishaq diso cemmended the efforts oh his S.Afor providing the additional ward in the hospital.
He applauded the commitment of a non government organisation named the challenge initiative TCI for renovating government hospital a kabuga community the TCI,and called on other donor agencies and non governmental organisations to emulate TCI in providing corporate socail.responsibity to the society.
