President Muhammadu Buhari has reiterated the commitment of his administration to ending the lingering security challenges facing the North east.
The President stated this when he paid traditional homage on the Shehu of Borno, Alh Abubakar El-kanemi at his palace during a one day working visit to Borno state to inaugurate some projects initiated by the present administration.
The President expressed displeasure at the level of unprecedented destruction in the state by the activities of the Boko Haram insurgents particularly to the education sector.
He appreciated the effort of Governor Kashim Shettima in rebuilding and resuscitating the standard of education in state.
The President described the abduction of the Chibok school and Dapch Girls as most unfortunate, stressing that government would not rest on oars until the remaining girls are rescue and reunited with their families.
