Security find election threat in Sokoto

The Sokoto state security council has identified some flash points posing security threats during Saturday’s re-run of governorship election.

The General commanding officer eighth division of the Nigerian army Major General, Hakeem Oladipo Otiki who stated this shortly after the council meeting in Sokoto, said already security agencies in the state have taken drastic measures to prevent any possible breakdown of law and order.

The GOC who didn’t mention the flashpoints, however warned people who have nothing to do at polling units to keep away from the units or face the wrath of the law.

Major General Hakeem Otiki who expressed dismay over flagrant flouting of the restriction of movements during the recent elections, warned that stringent measures would be taken to deal decisively with any individual or group that will cause breakdown of law and order during the re-run governorship election.
