In Taraba state, people have expressed satisfaction on the improvements in the voting process by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in the state.
Some residents of Jalingo, the state capital who spoke to Radio Nigeria said the INEC adhoc staff came earlier than they did at the Presidential and National Assembly elections on 23rd February 2019.
They also expressed optimism that the election will be peaceful, free, fair and credible, while they urged INEC to ensure that their votes count.
Also in an interview with Radio Nigeria, some blind men at Majidadi ward in Jalingo, appealed to the INEC against future elections to fullfil it’s promise on people with special needs to enable them exercise their franchise.
Radio Nigeria correspondent who went round various polling units in the state capital of Taraba, however gathered that there was low early turnout of electorates compared to the last Presidential and National Assembly election.
