The Ogun State Director of the National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mr Olusola Babalola says thuggery, invalid votes and vote buying are common challenges confronting the conduct of free, fair and credible elections in the country.
Mr Babalola disclosed this when he paid a courtesy call on the management of Radio Nigeria Paramount FM, Abeokuta.
Mr Babalola said the Agency had organized series of sensitization programmes to educate the Public.
He maintained that the Agency still need the wide coverage of media organizations like Radio Nigeria to send the messages to the grassroots.
Mr Babalola advised youths to desist from being used as political thugs, saying the children of politicians using them for thuggery are in better schools and positions.
Responding, the General Manager Paramount FM, Abeokuta, Alhaji Niyi Odekunle promised to give the NOA the needed support to achieve its aims and objectives.
Alhaji Odekunle added that there was no gain in thuggery, calling on parents to warn their children against violence.
