Inter-faith forum advocates border control

A Non-governmental organization, General Assembly of the Interfaith Dialogue Forum for peace has Advocated for the control borders communities to arrest the influx of illegal arms in the country as the nation’s prepare 2019 general elections.

The group leader of the forum, Bishop Sunday Onuoha and Alhaji Ishaq Sanni made the call in a communique at the end of their meeting in Abuja.

According to the Communique it’s said as election draw near it’s became imperative for the government to scale up mechanism to avert security challenges.

While urging the relevant stakeholders to play the game according to the rule during election , the Communique further call on politicians to promote Peace and not to instigate violence before during and after the election.

The forum has President General Nigeria supreme council for Islamic Affairs , NSCIA and Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Saad Abubakar and The President Nigeria Christian Association, Rev. Samson Ayokunle as it’s Patron.
