The Director-General, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Captain
Muktar Usman has denied allegation leveled against the agency by
Topbrass aviation of tempering with its aircraft.
In a chat with reporters in Lagos, the DG NCAA, Captain Usman said it
would take cautious steps to respond to the allegation leveled against
it by the owner of TopBrass aviation,Mr. Roland Iyayi.
He stressed that the regulatory agency intended to meet the airline
operator in court to challenge the many allegations leveled against
Earlier in a separate interview, Managing Director Topbrass Aviation,
Captain Roland Iyayi alleged that the NCAA had deregistered the
aircraft, moved them from the tarmac into the aerocontractor’s hangar
in connivance with one Captain Baba Mohammed with the intention to fly
them out of the country.
Captain Iyayi appealed to the Minister of state, Aviation Senator Hadi
Sirika to prevail on the heads of the aviation agencies to ensure
there was no further contact with the aircraft until all issues
surrounding the aircraft were resolved.
