The Independent National Electoral has been called upon to synergise with other mass identification and registration Department and Agencies to enhance conduct of future elections.
The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, Dr Isa Ibrahim Pantami stated this while collecting his Permanent Voter Card, PVC at the Government Day Secondary School, Life Camp near Gwarinpa, Abuja.
Dr Pantami said elections which are ICT based throughout the globe need the input of other ICT based registration agencies such as the National Identity Management Commission and the National Immigration Service to protect data from hackers and check all forms of election irregularities.
On his appointment as the Ambassador of INEC, Dr Pantami said it was a honour and called on registered voters to collect their voter cards and participate fully in the elections by voting their choice candidates.
Dr Pantami also interacted with some registered voters at the collection centre who called for improvement in the distribution of the PVCs.
