The Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi has approved the perimeter fencing of A.U.D Primary School, Irona, Ado-Ekiti to secure the lives of pupils and teachers from hoodlums reportedly terrorizing the school.
The Permanent Secretary, State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Euncie Oladimeji made this known in Ado-Ekiti during the monitoring of resumption of teachers and pupils for the second term of the 2018/2019 academic session in the state.
Stressing the commitment of the state government to providing a conducive teaching and learning environment in schools across the state, the Permanent Secretary assured that schools in the state will soon wear a new look.
