Ekiti expresses commitment to poverty alleviation

The Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi  has reiterated his sincere commitment to ensuring alleviation of poverty among the people of the state.

While receiving members of the APC Private Sector’s Union in Ado-Ekiti on a solidarity rally tagged “Buhari must win”,  Dr. Fayemi said the policy of his administration, include prompt payment of  salary, free education, soft loan for medium and small scale entrepreneurs to boost socio-economic in the state.

Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji explained that arrangements are on, to partner with private sector to address all their yearnings of the people.

Describing President Mohammadu Buhari as the best option for accountability and progress of the nation, Dr. Fayemi urged them to mobilize and vote massively during February 2019 general election to ensure President Buhari’s re-election.

The Chairman APC Private Sector’s Union in Ekiti state, Comrade Gbenga Abiodun, while declaring his members’ unalloyed support for the APC-led government at both the state and the nation endorsed the  re-election bid of President Mohammadu Buhari.

The Chairman stressed that the decision of the Union was motivated by the laudable achievements of the President Buhari, particularly his fight against corruption;  Youth employment through N-power Programme, the planned extension of the rail project to Ekiti, school feeding programme, among others.
