NSCDC parades suspects for illegal oil dealing

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Anambra State has paraded two suspects Ikechukwu Ese and Sunday Vincent for illegal oil dealing.

The suspects Ikechukwu Ese,a driver and Sunday Vincent,a conductor were arrested with their tanker with registration number WER 266 XA at Uga in Aguata local government area of the state on the thirtieth of last month with suspected adulterated diesel.

Parading the suspects at the headquarters of the corps in Awka, the new Commandant of the corps in the State,Commandant Obiageli Obiajulu warned members of the public that whatever business they were doing concerning oil must be genuine .

The Commandant explained that the federal government was using oil to grow the nation’s economy and pointed out that the suspects had been granted bail within the stipulated time as required by law, yet nobody came for their bail.

He said in the course of investigating the suspects, if found not guilty will be released but if found guilty will be arraign in court soon.
