The Nigeria Communications Commission, NCC says qualitative broadband service is aimed at improving the penetration of broad band services in the country.
The Executive Vice-Chairman of NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta stated this during a stakeholder’s broadband engagement forum held in Kano.
He said the present administration would ensure ensuring that qualitative services are provided both at rural and urban centers nationwide.
Professor Umar Danbatta maintained that the commission had approved licenses to some companies to import broadband infrastructures aimed at achieving the desired goals.
He assured the public that with the rate at which the country was skyrocketing technologically Nigeria would surely become one of giant nations globally.
The workshop was attended by communication stakeholders and other partners.
