Over two thousand articulated vehicles have been removed from the Apapa-Oshodi expressway in Lagos by a joint security taskforce established by the Lagos State Government.
The vehicles were taken off the roads under the “Operation Restore Sanity On Lagos Roads” to ensure free flow of traffic on the service lane in the axis.
The operation which was initially scheduled between Friday and Monday has been extended till Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is expected to meet representatives of the various Unions in the APAPA Port and other Stakeholders in Alausa, Ikeja tomorrow (Monday) to discuss laying solutions to the activities of truck drivers who are in the habit of parking indiscriminately on roads and bridges in the State.
