A media team for the coverage of this year hajj have been charged to exhibit high-level professionalism
Inaugurating members of the team, the Chairman, National Hajj Commission, Barrister Abdullahi Mukhtar, urged journalists to eschew sensational reports.
He implored members of the media team to see their nomination as a calling to portray the image of the country in favourable lights through responsible reportage.
Barrister Mukhtar called on members of the team to enlighten intending pilgrims on the implications of violating Saudi Arabian laws, and the steps they needed to take to reap the maximum benefits of the money they had paid for the pilgrimage.
Members of the team are drawn from the various media organizations in the country.
