Muslims in the country have been charged to reflect on the lessons learned during the Ramadan period and on the significance of fasting as a Religious obligation.
Plateau state Governor, Simon Lalong who gave the advice in his Sallah message, urged Muslims to allow the true meaning of the season to reflect deep in their lives and in the positive impact it will make on them.
Gov Lalong called on the people of the state to live in peace and harmony with one another as well as embrace the virtue of brotherly love, accommodation and sacrificial giving.
He charged Nigerians to continue praying fervently for sustained economy recovery and for the peace and unity of the country.
The Governor urged citizens to comply with security measures put in place by security agencies, who have been tasked to work round the clock to ensure that the festivity is celebrated peacefully in the State.
