Security beefed up in Lafia for Ex-Gov’s burial

Security has been beefed up in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital for the burial of ex-Governor of the state, Alhaji Aliyu Doma.

State Commissioner of Police, Bello Ahmed, had said police was collaborating with other security agencies to ensure that no law was breached during the burial.

Doma who died on March 6, in an Isreal hospital at 75 was the governor of the state between 2007 to 2011 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The remains of the formal governor arrived his home town, Doma, at 10 a.m on Sunday.
