Plateau Governor, Simon Lalong want security agencies in the state to urgently fish out killers of former Head of Service Moses Gwom and two other persons killed on Tuesday night.
Gunmen at about 8p.m on Tuesday, attacked and killed Gwom, an army corporal, Chimezie Goodluck and Rhoda Dauda at Weregh Village in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of the state.
Lalong, in a statement by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Mr Emmanuel Nanle in Jos on Thursday said that he was saddened by recent gory event that culminated into the killings.
“Security agencies in the state must swing into action to fish out the perpetrators of this heinous and dastardly act”, he said.
The governor assured the people of the state that their safety remained a priority to his administration in spite of pockets of cases that seemed to suggest the existence of reprisal attacks.
