A complete Broadcaster is rare to come by these days. Yes very few of them can be found around.
Festus Emode is one of them. He fits into almost every aspect of broadcasting.

Presentation comes naturally to him. He is an articulate newscaster and interviewee’s delight, with a wide knowledge of production.

He was part of the selected experienced professional staff of the corporation who participated in the 2003/2004 staff exchange programme, which took him to the Enugu National Station.

A pioneer voice on the 24-hour Broadcast of Premier Fm 93.5, first in the South West of Nigeria, Festus was also part of the anchors invited to handle Live discussion programmes with seasoned political analysts during the year 2007, 72-hour non-stop Network Election Broadcast to millions of people within Nigeria, neighbouring countries and the global audience through the Internet.

When in Abuja for the network News, he also anchors RADIO LINK.
At the level of the Ibadan National Station, Festus is a household name with his news delivery, presentation of analyses and anchoring of various programmes. He is also a special attraction at social functions as Master of Ceremony.

Festus Emode has been on commentaries for National Events, one of such is the burial ceremony of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo at the main bowl of the Liberty stadium alongside Emeka Odikpo.

Amiable and highly gifted with a unique voice that endears him to millions of listeners nationally and internationally, he has had the privilege of interviewing important personalities who visit Radio Nigeria Ibadan National Station, such as the Former Minister of Information and National Orientation Mr. Frank Nweke Jnr, Former Director General, FRCN, Dr. Eddie Iroh, Commissioners, Captains of Industry and a host of others.

As a young Announcer /Presenter, he was invited to anchor the Oyo State merit Awards.
